T.O.P’s Alleged Ex-Girlfriend Claims Other BIGBANG Members Were Involved In Burning Sun Scandal

On November 24, 2018, a man named Kim Sang Kyo was reportedly assaulted at the Burning Sun, a Gangnam club owned by ex-BIGBANG‘s Seungri, after he stepped in to help a woman who was being sexually harassed. Following this altercation was a series of investigations into Burning Sun and Seungri that unveiled a web of interconnected crimes, including gambling, drug distribution, and sexual assault.
Seungri was initially sentenced to three years for nine charges, including prostitution, prostitution mediation, embezzlement, violating food safety laws, habitual gambling, and violating the foreign exchange law.

However, a recent claim from someone close to former member T.O.P alleges that Seungri was picked as a scapegoat.

A recent episode of the podcast Above The Influence featured an entrepreneur and influencer named Kira speaking about her past, including her dating history, which was claimed to include a famous K-Pop idol.
Clips from the mentioned bonus episode were uploaded to TikTok, during which Kira claimed she dated former BIGBANG’s T.O.P.
She also spoke about the Burning Sun scandal, claiming that T.O.P said that Seungri took the fall for the controversy because their management company picked him to do so as he was the “least popular member.”
Kira claims that T.O.P said that Seungri was paid to go to jail, despite all of the members being “involved.”
BIGBANG was caught up in the controversy because Seungri was the one that took the fall. According to news outlets, like, he was the one that was responsible for all that so he went to jail. Like he got straight up like canceled, but the rest of the BIGBANG members were still like, kind of active at the time. And he was like ‘Yeah, because he was the least popular one of the group, our management company collectively decided that he should take the fall, even though we were all kind of involved in it. He should take the fall.’ And then they like paid him out to go to jail, like ‘hey, since you’re career was like, that great anyways how about you take all the blame, go to jail for a few years, and when you come out we’ll give you a good payout.’
