According to an exclusive report from OSEN, ASTRO member and actor Cha Eunwoo has been accepted into the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) Military Band and will begin serving his mandatory military duty starting this July.
OSEN reported on May 29, 2025 (KST) that Cha Eunwoo was listed among those who passed the band recruitment, as announced by the Military Manpower Administration. His enlistment date is now confirmed for July 28, 2025.
At the time of the idol trying out for the band, a Fantagio representative explained, “He applied for the Army Military Band at the end of March. He went through the proper procedures and completed the interview. We were informed that the results would be announced on the 29th. If accepted, although we didn’t yet know the exact date, we understood that enlistment would take place sometime in July.”
This makes Cha Eunwoo the second member of ASTRO to enlist.
