26-Year-Old Man’s Suicide At Bridge Leads To A Shocking Discovery At His Home

Police found more than a suicide note.

At approximately 6:30 a.m. on June 2, a jogger discovered a deceased man under a pedestrian bridge. Less than two hours later, police found three more bodies.

The 26-year-old’s body was found in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, where he was pronounced dead at the scene. According to a news report by Japanese news outlet Nippon TV, police went from the bridge to the home address listed on the man’s driver’s license: an apartment building that was about one kilometer away.

There, at approximately 8:00 a.m., police discovered the bodies of the man’s 26-year-old wife, their 2-year-old daughter, and their one-year-old daughter. All three had suffered fatal stab wounds to their abdomens, and a bloodied knife was located on a side stable near the foot of a bed.

Police, who found a suicide note in the apartment, believe that all four family members died in a murder-suicide. The man allegedly murdered his wife and children while they slept before riding his bike to the bridge, where he jumped to his death.
