Last summer, Malaysian star Bella Astillah and Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz divorced for the second time after a string of scandals. At a press conference, Bella claimed her ex-husband had cheated on her with 11 women, including her own sister. Now, she is rumored to be in a new relationship.
In January, rumors arose that Bella is now dating Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, a Malaysian politician, after they filmed a dance challenge together for TikTok. Although the two haven’t officially confirmed their relationship, moments such as Syed Saddiq’s romantic grand gesture and his own mother comparing him and Bella to Romeo and Juliet have kept the rumor mill running. Both families reportedly approve of the pairing.
Even though nothing has been confirmed, Syed Saddiq certainly isn’t shy about singing Bella’s praises. After his court hearing, which Bella attended, the politician told reporters, “She is an extraordinary woman, and I am indebted.” He also defined “beauty” as “Bella Astillah” while they filmed a recent TikTok video together. He just can’t seem to stop gushing about her!

Now, Syed Saddiq’s swoonworthy behavior is making the news again, thanks to an on-camera moment at a wedding. Malaysian actor Aidil Aziz filmed and posted the video on his TikTok account. In it, he asks the politician how long he has known Bella.
Syed Saddiq playfully responded with what some news outlets and netizens have called a “pickup line.” He told the actor, “Even though it’s temporary, it feels like it’s been forever.”
How did Bella respond? The star blushed and smiled, looking away from Syed Saddiq and Aidil Aziz–who slowed down the clip to give everyone a nice long look at her reaction! The video currently has 1.5 million views and over 102,000 likes.
The rumored couple was there to celebrate the wedding of Eyka Farhana and soccer player Akhyar Rashid.
